LIGHT MATERIAL / SNOW
Hauer offers different buckets in a wide range of sizes and designs, especially for applications with large handling volumes with lightweight material. The Hauer buckets can also be used for snow loading.
The Hauer light material bucket is a bespoke development for handling snow, grain, woodchips
and similar materials.
The special shape of the Hauer earth bucket proves practical construction. The bucket is curved and smooth, so there is no sticking of cargo in corners. The right-angle rear edge of the bucket is perfect for leveling backwards.
The cutting edge is made of hardened, wear-resistant high-performance steel with a hardness of approx. 450 HB and thus guarantee a long service life.
Reeinforced Version
For heavy work, the earth bucket is also available in a reinforced version:
- Bucket bottom with more and stronger wear-strips
- Side parts are made of thicker steel
- Reinforcement angle on the upper edge of the bucket
- Reinforced leveling angle
- Cutting edge 20 mm, thicker by 4 mm

As an additional wear protection the a second cutting edge screwed below the welded cutting edge. This additional cutting edge can be turned and used on both sides.
For large volumes of light bulk material the light material bucket LGS-XL is recommended.
Further information ...The LGS-XL is used for light material such as grain, wood chips or snow. Made from high-quality materials, the bucket features a low kerb weight and a high payload and the curved design ensures the high volume is exploited to the fullest.

base enable an optimum loading process. The shape of the bucket is also optimised to minimise material loss or spillage. The side edges on the inside are rounded, making the HK-LGS 2 suitable for handling sensitive loads.
The high-tip light material buckets are available in widths of 2000 to 2550 mm and therefore uses the maximum external width of the StVO.
The free dumping height at the lower edge of the shovel is approx. 800 mm over the rotating point of the loading arm (varying due to attachment height / tyres of the tractor). In comparison to the standard light material bucket, it is 1900 mm higher. Even larger trailers, containers and trucks with over 4 m can easily loaded. Therefore it is ideally used for loading wood chips or grain.
Use with wheel and telescopic loaders
Because of higher system hydraulic pressure, a pressure relief valve for the cylinders has to be mounted.
